"KBR, the engineering and construction subsidiary of Halliburton Co. said Tuesday it has been awarded a contingency contract from the Department of Homeland Security to supports its Immigration and Customs Enforcement facilities in the event of an emergency. The maximum total value of the contract is $385 million and consists of a 1-year base period with four 1-year options. KBR held the previous ICE contract from 2000 through 2005."

What does the ICE have to do with it? Slowly we are seeing that this whole 'immigration' debate has national and political agendas.

Running by this news is disheartening and constricts my dreams for a peaceful environment where sound minds and sound hearts would unify and further follow a common vision fit for cultivating a dynamic, people-friendly world. However, this news is not old news--in fact, deception and rampant social control are an integral fraction of the political-social realm. Since the United States' induction as the core hegemonic state, the polyarchy sought to preserve and perpetuate coercive political power. Now, we are witnesses to this brutal, global regime.
