In addition to the intense partisanship, the race for the national presidency has also seen an interesting number of key political figures switching over to the other side. I guess, "the grass is greener on the other side" epitomizes this season's national politics. Just recently, Colin Powell voiced his concern for the presidential campaign--stating Obama as the more fit candidate. Despite serving in distinguished roles of national politics for both republican and democrat presidents, his endorsement for this year's election is clear: "Obama," he says, "would be a transformational president."
Vote or not, this year's election is one to pay close attention to.
