RADIO INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
KPFK 90.7fm in Los Angeles is currently seeking interns that are willing to help with the production of several new and existing programs.
Responsibilities may include:
Research
Writing for radio
Administration of various social websites
Helping to book guests
Segment construction
And much more!
If you have a passion for progressive news, arts and culture and community action, check out www.KPFK.org.
Those who can commit to at least one day per week (4-8 hours) for a minimum of 12 weeks are preferred.

KPFK STUDENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM: This program provides an important opportunity to participate and contribute to one of the most important and significant news and information organization in the United States and around the world. The KPFK Student Internship Program is designed to provide opportunities to community members of Southern California and the college campuses within our listening area. Due to budgetary cutbacks the community college, CSU, and UC systems have an urgent need for assistance and support of its large student base. KPFK seeks to initiate this important effort through the collaboration with community organizations and our community colleges. KPFK and the Pacifica Foundation will contribute to the development of students and community organizations through education and community radio.
